INDIA OF MY DREAM (2025)

The Blue print of India 2025 envisages multi dimensional progress of our country in almost all the sectors.

It’s often said and is a crud fact that India is an agricultural country with majority of population living in rural areas with agriculture as their sole occupation. Believe me, this ratio of population engaged in agriculture can make us the biggest food grain producer of the world in 2025, If we are able to apply more judiciously the recent scientific and technological measures – such as new and genetically modified seeds, developed fertilizers and pesticides, artificial rain techniques, soil testing and intelligent use of images from RESOURCESATE 1 SATELLITE launched recently for more authentic weather monsoon forecasting. Further we have to link our agricultural lands with canals and rivers. The interlinking of all the rivers of Indian main land is necessary for over coming the agonies of floods and droughts. Therefore by these action, We can very well usher an ever green revolution for India up to 2025.

India at 2025 can be worlds knowledge and human resources super power, if we are able to stabilize our population growth. This stabilization can be achieved by education and awareness programmes. The 86th amendment at act envisages free and compulsory education to childrens in the age group of 6 to 14 years. This is sure to act as a catalyst to population stabilization. More over the present trend of increase in gross enrollment ratio in primary education and consequent decrease in drop out ratio, the success story of adult literacy programs, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan “ , vocational training programs etc --- are all expected to de-accelerate the population growth by virtue of increased literacy and awareness levels. Thus by 2025, the entire populations can be turned in to human resources for the country and population controlled as literacy is anti- venom to population growth.

India at 2025 would be a near disease free state. This may sound ironical to some of you, but it’s a near reality. The allotment of 2% of G.D.P to health sector has further provided a fillip to it. More over research and development in stem cells have given hope to cure some of the incurable diseases. Also the downslide trend in T.B, Leprosy, Polio, Aids, DENGUE, PLAGUE etc. are a result of comprehensive plans and missions carried out by public and private sector the out break of famines have been greatly reduced. Indians are proud to have let the chronic diseases like SARS and BIRD FLU not been able to penetrate in India.

 

In the economic sector, in 2025, we are going to get the self reliance stage with a great boom in service sector accompanied by manufacturing sector. The rural employment guarantee act, the other wage related schemes are in full swing. Due to economics reforms millions of jobs have sprunged in private sector. The entry of foreign capital in India as well as Indian companies buying stakes overseas have all lit the hope that up to 2025. one sixth of the service either direct or through B.P.O s would be grabbed by Indians. I know some of you may be wondering how come one sixth product Indian – I say had you ever thought before Corus and Arcelor take over that ¾ th of steel of world read as Made In India.

Closely related to economic growth is eradicating corruption in political system. I see the India of 2025 a corruption free state. Its because of right to information acts, the active and ever vigilant media and vibrant NGO’s. they should all lead us to the concept of good governance at political levels. Communalism, casteism will lose significance as they are inversely proportional to development. More over computerisation of all records, use of E-Governance, Use of information communication technology (ICT) would become a common sight up to 2025.

In 2025 we would be in a position to successfully launch satellites by our PSLV’s and GSLV’s on a huge commercial base. We would be making use of global positioning system of US and Global navigational satellite system of Russia. In april this year India would launch CHANDRA YAN 1. Followed by manned mission CHANDRA YAN 2 in 2011. in 2025 we would be having AGNI4 and Intercontinental Cruise missiles developed indigenously. Also the advanced forms of AKASH, NAAG, TRISUAL would supplement our defense requirements. In INDO-US nuclear deal and the thermal, hydel, solar, wind, geothermal and Tidal energies will make India self sufficient in energy sector up to 2025.

in the domestic front India will be more stronger up to 202 5 as the talks with naxalite Insurgents, would cross over from the present cease fires stage to the logical conclusion stage. ULFA, NSCN, Maoists have all been engaged in bilateral Talks and are expected to join the main stream of India shortly. The menace of terrorism as we all know is not an army in it self rather it is a psychological disorder based on some fannatism. The government of India is trying to tackle it both ways. The government has signed agreements with many countries including the extradition treaties. On the internal front also the policy of zero tolerance and hot pursuit assures us – that terrorism would be a historical term in India and world by 2025. The boundary Talks with Pakistan, Bangladesh and China are on right tracks and are expected to be resolved soon. The periodic elections in India including the empowerment of municipality and Gram Panchyat have further strengthened democracy. The empowerment of women and economically and socially deprived sections by means of reservation in Panchayat and educational Institutes have yielded positive results.

By 2025 india would be one of the most powerful Global power. It is expected that India would get permanent membership of expanded
Securities council. Also we would be sitting with G-7 , G-8 countries and deciding the fortunes of world trade on the basis of equality and multi polarity. Our regional associations with ASEAN, EAST ASIA, SAARC, BIMSTEC etc. would make us a very important regional and world power. SAARC would follow on the lines of European Union with common currency and no visa, passport restrictions. The free trade agreements and Double Tax avoidance treaties signed with ASEAN and other economic powers would make us very strong through the process of economic diplomacy.

it is said that the prosperity and health of the nation is determine by the sports standards. We are all set to organize 2010 common wealth games. The success of this event will lead us to have more sports infrastructure and a strong claim for organizing other sporting extra veganss like Asiad and Olympics. I firmly believe that six thousands crore investment in 2010 common wealth games and recent sports policy launched by the government, we are sure to exploit and harness the talented sports man of our country and would be able to increase our medals tally at world level sports event.

At my command, I believe that India at 2025, would be a place, which would be glittering like a diamond over our mother earth. Also by 2025 I can assure you that you can say it loud from here it self what our great astronaut Rakesh Sharma said from Sapace i.e
“ Saare Jahaan Se Accha, Hindustain Hamara ,
Hum Bulbule hain isski ye gulsitain Hamara”
